Whether or not Xalan1 binary will run against DOM3 parsers, I can not
attest.  I can state, however, with certainly that Xalan1 sources will not
compile against the latest source for Xerces 1.x.  In fact, I am sending
out daily reminders to that effect.

My question is: is this something that people intend to fix, or should I
simply remove Xalan1 from the daily Gump runs?
