Hello,
I'm interested in helping with the XSLTC compiler. I've used it with some
simple stylesheets but I hope it will give some real performance boost on
a few complex stylesheets used at work and in styling docbook using Norman
Walsh's stylesheets.
So far I got the version 1.29 of the docbook stylesheets to compile, after
some modifications to the stylesheets and some modifications (which
hopefull turn out to be fixes) to XSLTC. Apart from the relative sparsity
of javadoc, I think the code of the XSLTC compiler is quite easy to
understand and to work with.
(The compiled code of the docbook stylesheets doesn't run due to some
verifier errors, though)
I have a few patches lying here now, if someone is interested. And
hopefully there is an archive of some sort, like a mailing list archive,
where one can find out about the history of xsltc development.
Please tell how I could help with development.
Regards,
Erwin Bolwidt
