Yes, absolutely.  The easiest thing for us is if you get the latest code
from the CVS and do a patch file.  But whatever works for you.

Hi,

to whom it may concern:

As it turned out we needed to implement our own Serializer
for a customer. This Serializer is fairly similar to Xalans
SerializerToHTML and we would have liked to make it a subclass.
But unfortunately some Members of SerializerToHTML have
package or even private restrictions. Is this something
which can be changed? Then we could describe in detail
which members we'd need.
