Hey folks,
I am realtively new to xalan. I would be looking for these answers in the
archives but they don't seem to be working. I am sorry if these questions
have already been answered...
there are a couple of features in the 2.2d6 release thar I am interested in.
The first and foremost is the ability to use translets instead of xsl
documents. I am wondering where in the development cycle this is, that is
how far off of a beta, or final, release this technology is.
the second question is, IF Translets are really a "new" technology and the
ability to use them with TrAX is not yet ready for prime-time, is there
another way inside of xalan to cache stylesheets after they have read in and
used? I am trying to avoid the overhead of re-loading and re-compiling
stylesheets everytime they are requested...
any help is appreciated, thanks in advance
