I have downloaded the xalan distribution and installed it, only to find that the
executables in the distribution are PA-RISC2.0. However, my arcitecture is
PA-RISC1.1
When I attempted to rebuild xalan, I found that the configure script produces a
Makefile which contains constructs which the versions of make on my machine do
not recognize- e.g.
73: ifndef XALANCROOT
74: noxalanroot:
75: @echo XALANCROOT must be defined
76: endif
and the error is:
Make: Must be a separator on rules line 74. Stop.
What version of make is required to rebuild xalan?
