Also see java/src/org/apache/xalan/xslt/EnvironmentCheck.java for more
examples of determining version info.

Note that I haven't checked lately what specific version number the nightly
GUMP system uses for versions, other than it changes the distro
.zip/.tar.gz file names to use _gump instead of a number.
