Hello,
I use Xalan to parse hughe log files (60Mb), so as a test I use the SAX2SAX sample to
parse a hughe birds.xml file.
javac SAX2SAX
java SAX2SAX
then the memory taken by java goes up to 80 Mb
while this the file birds.out does'nt receive any data, it remains empty
and java throws an OutOfMemomryError
Is it the expected behavior ?
I thought that the memory consumption would remain low and the size of birds.out file
would increase progressivly.
I use Xalan 2.2 D10 with Xerces 1.4.3 on WinNT jdk1.3
