It seems to run fine and return correctly without hanging based on today's CVS code. 2) The specific kind of validation error may make a difference, so you'll probably need to attach the xml file that you're using as well. Also, please be aware that we have limited resources that are focused on the current 2.2 releases, so it's unlikely we'll make fixes to the 2.0 codebase unless we have volunteers or patches for that.
