http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=5357 Function substring() doesn't work with http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2001-12-12 08:28 ------- The latest XalanC used with the designated version of Xerces passed 20 different substring() tests here, otherwise we would have withheld it. Paul Dick has excerpted your example from this bug report and run it with no problems using Xerces 1.5.2, and no reason to suspect a pertinent difference from 1.5.1 to 1.5.2. Your example shows validation occurring, which shouldn't affect the bug in question, so let us know what happens if validation is off.
