Hi Kevin,

The Solaris binaries will be built on Solaris 2.6. Here's what the
compiler says:

   bash-2.02$ cc -V
   cc: Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 C 5.3 2001/05/15

I believe the 1.2 binaries are available in the distribution area. 1.3
should be posted any day now.

Dave

Right-o. Here I am.

That's great! A couple of questions:

What OS and compiler versions?

When do you figure on releasing it?

While you're waiting for versions of Xalan 1.3 to be available for Solaris
and your other Unix platforms, how about providing a link to the last
stable
Xalan 1.2? I'm having to refer customers to the snapshots for them to get
any Unix source at all, at present.

It depends what my managers decide on the issue. I've already supplied two
sets of fixes for Bug #4498. I could also supply you with the current
Solaris binary distribution that I developed to test Bug #4498. But future
versions would depend on what resources are available.
