we are considering
using Xalan in one of our projects. Xalan requirements page (http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/getstarted.html#samples) says
that we need JDK 1.2.2 or 1.3.x. Our company standard JDK is 1.2.1_004. Can
we still use this version to successfully run Xalan? What is the diferrence
between the one we use and JDK 1.2.2?

p.s. Upgrading to a
new version will require a bunch of approvals and regression testing of
each application, which is almost impossible to justify at this
moment.
