http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=7627 build.sh script from xalan-j_2_3_1-src.tar.gz does not work with Red Hat Linux 7.1 Summary: build.sh script from xalan-j_2_3_1-src.tar.gz does not work with Red Hat Linux 7.1 Product: XalanJ2 Version: 2.3 Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Blocker Priority: Other Component: Xalan AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The build.sh script from xalan-j_2_3_1-src.tar.gz does not work with Red Hat Linux 7.1 (GNU bash, version 2.04.21(1)-release (i386-redhat-linux-gnu)). This is what happens [user@host xalan-j_2_3_1]$ sh build.sh : command not found : command not found Xalan-J 2.x Build ------------- : command not found build.sh: line 56: syntax error: unexpected end of file [user@host xalan-j_2_3_1]$ The errors ': command not found' correspond to the first three blank lines in the script. Opening the script in Emacs puts the buffer into DOS mode. Copying the script via the kill-ring into a Fundamental buffer and writing it to disk results in a fixed script. It's probably a CRLF thing.
