[Q] stop transform with stopTransformation()

While using the Xalan trace capabilities in   Xalan 2.4 J2SDK 1.3.1   it seem that TransformerImpl.stopTransformation() has no effect. There is a "needs comment" in the Javadocs for it.     Any advice on termination when tracing is appreciated.     --Zaid
