http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=14719 ApplyXPath fails if Root Node has default namespace Summary: ApplyXPath fails if Root Node has default namespace Product: XalanJ2 Version: CurrentCVS Platform: All OS/Version: Solaris Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: Other Component: org.apache.xpath AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] When we try to call the sample ApplyXPath with a xml file that contails namespace attribute e.g. xmlns="http://blah...", XPathAPI.selectNodeIterator() call doesn't return any result back if the XPath expression contains a "NodeName" The xml we used was <?xml version="1.0"?> <AuthLogin xmlns="http://x.y.com"> <Request> <AuthInfo> <UserID>xyz</UserID> <UserPassword>xyx</UserPassword> <Name>16</Name> </AuthInfo> </Request> </AuthLogin> This didn't work with ApplyXPath. But it does work if there are no namespace or if the namespace is not default e.g. xmlns:srimant="http://xyz..."
