It's the IOStreams that cause problems, and Xerces uses them minimally.
They also don't use any of the STL containers, so it's not a relevant
comparison.

It's strange, because Xerces has no problems at all with SGI STL.
I thought they (Xerces and Xalan) are more related to each other than it
seems;)
