After further debugging, I found out that the bug occurs when the apply-templates is called on a node that has ONLY a CDATA node besides its ELEMENT children. If the node contains also some TEXT nodes, the call works fine. Am I correct? If I call apply-templates on a node, the CDATA/TEXT nodes should be emitted and then the ELEMENT children should be called afterwards.
