http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21587 Do/should we support precompiled XPaths? Summary: Do/should we support precompiled XPaths? Product: XalanJ2 Version: CurrentCVS Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: Other Component: org.apache.xpath AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] As far as I can see, we don't have the concept of a precompiled XPath in our APIs. Admittedly, a single path may be too trivial to be worth precompiling. Or it may not be, if someone has a set of XPaths which they apply repeatedly against source document(s). I think it's worth thinking about.
