Now, is there a scenario in which either the originator (jweather) or Denis Genard (who voted for this bug) is able to demonstrate a bug with the serializer? The serializers for XSLTC and Xalan-J Interpretive were recently merged, so it's quite possible that any bug that might have existed in this area has been fixed. If you can still reproduce a problem with the latest versions of the Xalan-J processor, please attach a complete test case (stylesheet, input document and any Java code) that will allow a developer to reproduce the problem easily.
