http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=877 HTML Serialize doesn't work with namespaces [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|REOPENED |RESOLVED Resolution| |WONTFIX ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-08-15 18:23 ------- I'm proposing to change this to WONTFIX. It's only Falk's contention that it's a bug in the spec. As a longtime member of the XSLT WG, I won't say it's a bug or not. The WG really needs to decide that. By changing this in Xalan, it would be a significant change in behavior that could bite an existing application. By putting in an additional output flag this is yet another feature, for which I think there are user alternatives... use a null namespace. I'm sure Falk may not agree with this. If so, I think we should take up the discussion on one of the Xalan mailing lists, and get a broader range of opinions. If this is done, I would like to see an example where this can not be done... I would be willing to admit that I am wrong and this requires a feature flag.
