What kind of Source are you using for the transformation, and how are you
initializing it?
If you create a StreamSource from a URI, we automagically set that URI as
the base. I *think* we can do that if you pass in a File too, by querying
the File object for its location.
If you're using a DOM source, or a stream source coming from a character
stream, or a SAX source, those generally don't have a base URI
automagically associated with them and you have to explicitly set this
field of the Source object.
(This is a FAQ; it should probably be added to our website even though it's
really a TrAX usage issue.)
