Yes, and of course, it's because I didn't check in the entire fix! Duh....
Time for a vacation, I guess.
I've also added asserts for safety.

It didn't seem to fix the problem for me. An I still think that you should
add that assert() statement that we discussed even if the problem is
presumed to be fixed.
