The website page: http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/usagepatterns.html
has a typo in the sample on using the Debugger Interface.
It has the line:
javax.xml.trnasform.TransformerFactory.newInstance();
Note the "trnasform" rather than "transform".
It would be a good idea to re-try the whole code block, and see if there aren't
other problems.
