The updates for JAXP 1.3 need to be done in a number of places. At the
moment, only the xml-commons head branch has been updated with the latest
JAXP 1.3 APIs. Corresponding changes in Xalan and in Xerces have yet to
be made and our plan of action was to first but the code on a branch and
then merge the changes in with the head. Please continue to build CVS
HEAD XALAN using JAXP 1.2 APIs until this work is complete.

Hey Folks,
Would you mind looking at this build problem, which occurred when we moved
Gump from JAPX 1.2 to 1.3 today.
