Henry Zongaro commented on XALANJ-1845:
---------------------------------------

Bob, I know this problem is a bit old now, but I tried using your test on a
PowerPC-based SMP with four processors running AIX. I was unable to reproduce
the problem after a number of trials, with varying numbers of threads and
transformations. I even tried varying whether the source and result for the
transformations were files or char arrays.

You mentioned that you saw the problem with a 32-bit JVM, but not a 64-bit JVM.
Did you ever report this problem to Sun?

Has anybody else been able to reproduce the problem? Hujn, you were the
original reporter of the problem, but we never saw a test case from you. Do
you have a test that can reliably reproduce the problem - assuming it's the
same problem?

> We are transforming thousands of XML files, and we are getting random errors
> like the following:
> 'org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Error in XSLT: Translation has lead to data
> that is not bounded properly by XML tags.
> The error is not caused by the XML file or the XSLT templates we are using,
> as
> the work fine if transformed from the commandline.
> Out program that does the transformation uses multiple threads, eaching
> having
> its own Transformer instance.
