Sorry for the late notice, the monthly JIRA meeting, usually at 2 pm EDT on the first Tuesday of each month, will be held on the second Tuesday in July.
So the next tele-conference will be at 2 pm EDT on Tuesday July 12. ========================================================== Someone from Apache approached me with concerns about decisions, or votes being made at this meeting. I assured them, and I assure you that this is not the case. No decisions are made at this meeting. All decisions are voted on in the appropriate mailing list. If no decisions are made at this meeting, what can possibly get done? In this tele-conference active committers to Apache Xalan-J discuss bugs, some volunteer to take on a bug, others volunteer to review a patch, etc. At worst this meeting might inhibit you from volunteering to fix a bug. If this is an issue for you, and you are a committer, go into JIRA and assign a bug to yourself before someone beats you to it at one of these meetings. One other possibility is that you might feel excluded due to the time zone, or the long distance charges to connect to the meeting. This may be true. However, I don't think that cancelling the tele-conference, to make everyone equal, is the answer. Please send a note to xalan-dev if you disagree.
