Sarah McNamara commented on XALANJ-1853:
----------------------------------------

I thought I should add a comment in here before Sergei verifies the fix.
The problem that Sergei reported was fixed in cvs back in Jan'05. That fix
was to correct the missing org.w3c.dom.xpath package from the xalan.jar in
the xalan-j_2_6_0-bin-2jars distribution.

Since then, we've done the JAXP 1.3 work and we upgraded the W3C DOM XPath
APIs to the level of the Working Group Note. When we did this, we moved the
org.w3c.dom.xpath package from xalan.jar to xml-apis.jar.

Therefore, Sergei, when reviewing this fix, please take this into consideration.

> However, this package is present in "big" xalan.jar from "single jar"
> distribution. In "xalan-j_2_6_0-bin-2jars" distribution, none of the supplied
> jar files contain that package.
> Manifest entry is also missing for this package.
