Yep, it's a Xerces-C problem as SAXCount exhibits the same problem.
I'll try to debug this.
Just to warn you -- there was a lot of work done on the
platform-specific code in 2.7 (and there's even more on 3.0), and Tru64
is an orphaned port at this time. I suspect it will be something really
simple, because much of the code that was re-written was not compiled
the platforms where the port is not being maintained.
