This is the report to the Apache Software Foundation from the Apache Xalan project for the meeting February 20, 2008.
- Brian Minchau Apache Xalan PMC Chairperson Xalan-C ======= Nothing to report. Xalan-J ======= Xalan-J 2.7.1 was released on November 27, 2007 This release contains: 1) Support for DOM Level 3 serialization 2) Upgrade to Xerces-J 2.9.0 3) Bug fixes The user community has noted that the Xalan-J 2.7.1 distribution contains a back level release of Xerces-J. Xerces-J 2.9.1 became available on September 15, 2007. The level of Apache BCEL is also downlevel at 5.1. Version 5.2 was released in June of 2006. These two will be upgraded in the next release. Although not discussed by the PMC, I am not aware of any cryptographic code in the Apache Xalan distributions.
