I think you'll need to provide a few more details. Which processor are you using (the Xalan-J Interpreter, XSLTC, Xalan-C++) and which version? If you're using either of the Java processors, what form of input are you using (StreamSource, SAXSource, DOMSource), output (StreamResult, SAXResult, DOMResult) and which Java platform are you using? Do you have a simple driver program that would help to illustrate what you're doing? What kind of performance are you seeing and what would you expect to be an acceptable level of performance?
