The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Xalan has asked Steven to become a committer and member of the PMC, and we are pleased to announce that he has accepted.
Steven has demonstrated over the past months that he has the energy and interest in the success of the Apache Xalan project. His energetic push to rally the troops led to rebooting the PMC and community. He's spent a great deal of time reviewing code patches, working on documentation, and general housekeeping on XALAN's JIRA. His effort has clearly demonstrated his commitment and merit as both a committer and PMC member and the Apache Xalan PMC is proud to welcome him aboard! Being a committer enables easier contribution to the project since there is no need to go via the patch submission process. This should enable better productivity.
