I am unsure about how to create release packages that are appropriate for submission to the ASF mirrors. A local mirror in my area "oslosu.org" provides hosting resources for most of the Apache products, but they said to contact the Xalan team for guidance.
I can probably get time-off from work to visit Oregon State University and tour their hosting resources at "osuosl.org". In so doing, I may even get some university support to build some of the products for replication to the Apache mirrors. Sincerely, Steven J.
