The XalanMessages Library using VS 2003 (VC7.1) is constructed using makefiles ported from VC6.
The XalanMessages Library construction was redesigned in VS 2005 to use the Xerces-C parser to transform the XalanMsg_en_US.xlf file. Shall I attempt to back-port the work from VS 2005 into VS 2003 (VC7.1). This will make the code base for Microsoft builds consistent throughout the v1.11 code base.
