I have more binary packages for review on my committer web page
in support of planning an XALAN-C/C++ Version 1.11 release strategy.

   http://www.apache.org/~shathaway

The Windows binary build packages on the web site include both
a debug build and a release build for the following platforms.

  32-bit x86 VS 2003 (VC7.1)
  32-bit x86 VS 2005 (VC8)
  32-bit x86 VS 2008 (VC9)
  32-bit x86 VS 2010 (VC10)
  64-bit x86_64 VS 2005 (VC8)
  64-bit x86_64 VS 2008 (VC9)
  64-bit x86_64 VS 2010 (VC10)

The Linux binary build packages have separate files for the
debug build and the release build. They have been built using
a Debian Linux virtual machine using GCC 4.4.5. The Xerces-C 3.1.1
built with GCC 4.4.5 is also included in the binary packages.

The web page on building libraries describes how to create the
Linux/Unix build scripts having release output targeted to
  /usr/local/...
and the debug output targeted to
  /opt/apache/debug/...

The Linux/UNIX binary build strategy documented in the
Building Libraries web page describes how to create your
builds in a directory separate from your working copy of
source code. Your working copy of source code can reside
on read-only media.

If you need help with scripts for building the libraries, I am
willing to share the scripts used to construct the binary
files referenced by my contributor's web site.

Note: The contributor web site is only a temporary hosting
to aid in Xalan-C project review.

REVIEWS ARE REQUIRED BEFORE A RELEASE CAN BE MIRRORED

Sincerely,
Steven J. Hathaway
