-- Did you setSystemID() of the xml file before asking for getAssociatedStylesheets()? If we don't know the systemID of a Source object, then we default to the current directory (which is not what you want). You often have to explicitly set this. -- Which specific version of Xalan-J are you using? It is indeed a bug that it's giving you four / slashes after the file: scheme.
