Oh, to answer your other question: Xalan has nothing in the area of
inherently persistant data models, unless you want to count the SQL
Extension as an example thereof. If someone Really Wanted to create a
persistant version of DTM, I suppose it could be done... but persisting an
immutable object strikes me as being of minimal utility.
