Since you're reporting this against D11 -- have you tried D13, to make sure this isn't a bug we've already fixed?
Also, the current CVS code includes a fairly major change to the DTM access methods which has removed a number of size limitations; if D13 _doesn't_ solve the problem you might want to try building the latest-and-greatest and see if that helps. If not, post a Bugzilla resport to make sure we don't forget it and we'll track it down.
