I am fairly new to Xalan. Could someone tell me, what is the
standards compliant way of applying an XPath expression to a
Document or Element object obtained through Xerces?
right now I am using org.apache.xpath.XPathAPI:
XPathAPI xpath = new XPathAPI();
Element result =
(Element)xpath.selectSingleNode(mydoc.getDocumentElement(),
"//somenode");
