What you say you're getting as output is not well-formed XML. Please
send another message to xalan-j-users showing the entire stylesheet.
Please try to say what you want the stylesheet to do in words rather
than by example. Is the goal "when I find an a:A element, copy the whole
sub-tree inside it, but not the a:A itself"? Could there be multiple
instances of a:A? Would anything inside an a:A ever be in the "a"
namespace? Are there ever any sttributes involved?
