Maybe it doesn't matter to you, but it matters according to the to the XML
recommendation.  It also matters to those who wants conforming tools.

Any document which contains invalid characters is not really an XML
document.  Either fix your document, or don't try to process it using using
XML tools.

Hello,

  I've got a little problem with invalid characters in XML/XSLT
documents. Xalan throws an exception like
           "An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x1a8962) was found in
           the comment."
Of course: There is an invalid character in the comment, but it
doesn't matter... is it possible to set an parameter or soemthing
making Xalan ignoring this "error"?
