I am also having a mysterious problem trying to run Xalan 2.4.1 under JDK 1.4.1. I have put the new xalan.jar, etc., into /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.1_01/jre/lib/ext, but I'm still getting version.xalan2=Xalan;Java;Xalan Java 2.2.D11; -- Franklin
