Unfortunately we've dropped the Xalan-J 1.x compatibility layer quite a while ago, so you will definitely have to make code changes to upgrade. Luckily the newer JAXP API's are much cleaner and are a JDK-supported API so they're quite stable.
The two ideas I'd have are: -- If you have time, read up on the Xalan docs about JAXP and consider redesigning how your app interfaces with the transformer. There are some minor app design changes you might want to make that will probably simplify your transforming code. -- If you just want to get it done, you can look at the migration guide in one of our older builds - see http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/dist/old/ and I'd guess you want either the 2.1 or 2.2 build. Just use that for the docs; you should actually code to our current release. (The JAXP interfaces that you should use in javax.xml.transform.* are essentially the same in all modern releases) ===== - Shane <eof .sig="'When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in a very scornful tone, 'it means just what I choose it to mean - neither more nor less'" "Oohayu oyod?!"=gis. /> __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
