Just to pipe in support of Joe and what Andrew said. I feel Joe has a
history of being extremely polite and helpful on the list, and in general
the xalan lists are comparatively very civil (maybe even too civil
sometimes...). Sometimes things come across differently on email than was
the intention, and different people read things different ways.
As far as Gary already having answered the question, because of delay's in
email gateways, and just because many of us work down our mail lists and
answer questions as we encounter them, overlapping answers happen all the
time. Sometimes overlapping answers are very helpful.
In any case, let's not make this a big thread about email etiquette or what
Joe should or should not have said. I would rather keep focused on Xalan
technology.
