It is not a problem of Xalan. The error is from the parser (Xerces). Please
check your XML files and XSL stylesheet, make sure there is no new line in
front of <?xml ...?>

Hello,
I try to transform an XML file with an XSL stylesheet. This stylesheet
imports another one which imports a third one (C.xsl).
When tranforming XML file with a servlet using Xalan (2.4.1 or 2.5.1), I
get the following error : org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The processing
instruction target matching "[xX][mM][lL]" is not allowed.
(The same files used on client side by msxml parser work fine)
Has anyone seen anything like this?
