formatting date

Hi!   I didn't know where else to post my question, I hope you can help me!   I am wondering if the method formatDate(string datetime, string pattern) is supported natively by Xalan-J?   This link suggests that it is supported, but my code says otherwise: http://depfind.sourceforge.net/Samples/xalan.html   The API-docs also suggests that it is supported: http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/apidocs/org/apache/xalan/lib/ExsltDatetime.html#formatDate(java.lang.String,%20java.lang.String)   I currently are using the 2.5.2 version of Xalan. And I can use the other methods in the same package such as dayInWeek. If this method isn't implemented what can I use instead?   Am I missing something here?   best regards /Tomas Lundborg
