Hi Brian, I did some testing quite a while back. I believe it was at time of Xalan Java 2.7 release. I would need to recreate the environment to do the testing; before I can answer this question.

You were involved with Derby testing a while ago. Do you have any recollection of this, or an answer? Thanks, - Brian ----- Forwarded by Brian Minchau/Toronto/IBM on 05/28/2008 06:06 PM ----- "Andy Chambers" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 05/28/2008 08:07 AM To "xalan-j-users@xml.apache.org" <xalan-j-users@xml.apache.org> cc Subject SQL extension support Hi, Does the sql extension only support the derby database? I tried using the oracle jdbc driver (thin client) with the stylesheet below and keep getting "Invalid Driver Name" errors. I have my CLASSPATH setup according to the way oracle recommends. I've also searched google for the problem and the only results are other people posting similar experiences to the Stylus Studio mailing list. If its not too much work, we might be able to provide a patch to support this. Cheers, Andy ---- Andy Chambers Formedix Ltd
