I got the email a while ago but didn't realize my response was rejected
at first.

There is no subname. Unfortunately the way the google dom/xpath code was
written everything was top level. Every variable and function was
non-namespaced.

We changed this by wrapping everything in "google". But under that there
is every variable and function.

It might not be that bad to simply replace every occurrence of "google"
with "xap" but that would not be backwards compatible.

There are some tricks we could do for that. For example change "google"
to "xap" but then optionally make "google" an alias for "xap" based on
some setting.

Subject: RE: OpenAjax Registry for Apache XAP

It looks like that Apache has very aggressive spam protection built-in.
The "OpenAajx registry" email from me was sent out a week ago - did it
take a week to travel from my laptop to the net? Any tips that Apache
experts can share on this?

"google" is going to be a problem in this case...it is not likely
possible that "google" can be reserved as a top-level name for Apache
XAP. Are there sub names (for example, "google.blah") that sufficiently
differentiates us?
