Yep.  netcat, set2net, AGWPE, remserial.  All good options.

I'd like to rewrite the AGWPE support some day:  One of the methods
to communicate with it looks much like a KISS TNC, but I didn't use
that part of the protocol initially.  It would have been easier to
have done so.
