Okay, being the lazy type (read too busy), the wiki now allows for password reminders and email notification of updates. You must register with a valid email for this to work properly. You can set email notification options on your "preferences" page. To receive an email reminder select "email password" from the login page. Let me know if something isn't working as expected.
