The Xastir site is a Wiki. As such, there aren't links for everything.
Attempting to put links on the 'main page' for everything on the site
would make the main page a cluttered, unusable mess. Idea is to use the
'search box' and you find what's available on the site. If you don't
find it - create it. But I too would expect a 'download' in the
navigation box or similar (Sidebar). It's one of the few 'everyone
wants' type links.
I just went in and tried to up-date the 'Downloads' page (still on FC
3!!), but looks like the edit groups have been re-implemented and I
can't edit pages any longer.

What platform are you looking for? Many Linux distros have Xastir in
their update repositories. Depending on the distro you're using, it may
be as easy as "yum install xastir" to get things going. And then, your
system's built in updater will update Xastir as well.

but I only found this page for Binary downloads through Google

They appear to be on the same domain.
A simple link on the main page pointing to the binary downloads would be
good. Unless I am so blind I just cant see it there. Its not obvious to me
anyway.
