Probably. I've never encountered the error myself, just heard it
through the noise here in the past. It would be nice to know what the
problem was, not just that disabling Desktop Effects makes it stop.
Where in the wiki do you think would be appropriate? Is there a FAQ in
the wiki (the only wiki FAQ I see looks like it's intended for
wiki-use, not xastir itself...and it's empty)?
I can add it to the FAQ when I get a few free minutes, perhaps late
tonight.
Don't know on the Wiki. Maybe we need to start one and fill it in
with info from the FAQ text file.
